Composed by Oscar Nominee Tajdar Junaid, the song features Kanwar Grewal, a musician from a family of farmers whose music has been reflective of his personality; a child prodigy, Deveshi Sahgal, lending her powerful voice to the song, Amira Gill, who also happens to be a music therapist. It also features Vijay Yamla Jatt, the grandson of Lal Chand Yamla Jatt, who’s carrying forward the legacy of this grandfather by performing his music and popularizing an age-old instrument called the Tumbi.
